Wildlife Rescue Center & Assembly Programs

Leaders in Education and Conservation since 1987

Wild Things Inc. is a 501-c3 non-profit organization incorporated in 1987 to serve two valuable purposes:

First, to provide homes for displaced wildlife.

And second, to share these animals as wildlife ambassadors in a public education forum.

The wild creatures housed at our organization are all animals that need help. They are either animals that have injuries which keep them from surviving in the wild, or animals that individuals have tried to keep as illegal pets. Most of the wildlife housed at Wild Things Inc. come to us through the California Department of Fish and Game, or the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.

Wild Things Inc. visits tens of thousands of school children every year with a message of conservation and appreciation for the earth’s natural wonders. Our ultimate goal is to inspire future generations to love and appreciate our natural world, and hence preserve it for all the years to come.
